Opinion: Utang, Debts, and Legal Firms

May utang ka ba na di nabayaran? Postpaid plan na napabayaan?

Have your received an email from your service provided saying that they have endorsed your unpaid balance to their LEGAL FIRM?

Of course, I understand, this is scary. Marami ang tanong na derechong pumapasok sa isip mo.

    May kaso na baa ko?

    Makukulong na ba ko?

I know many of you suffers sleepless nights because of this.

Of course ang utang, kailangan bayaran. But I am not blaming anyone. We have our reasons. And unfortunately, due difficult circumstances, nababaon tayo sa utang.

This is my piece of advice especially to those who have problems with service providers, or the creditors that are dragging the term “LEGAL FIRM”.

Kung sabihin nil ana LEGAL FIRM, it just means they are endorsing your due balance to a certain collector. Wag kang matakot and mangamba. This means na they are asking a different entity to collect the balance from you.

So walang kaso at lalong hindi ka makukulong. You are protected by law.

So kung makareceive ka ng email nae to, stay calm and think your options.

Kung wala kang maibabayad. Be honest. If they can offer you a better payment arrangement, great. If hindi and forceful ang collector, then say you don’t have money.

Wag kang magpapadala sa threats. Be calm and rationale in dealing with them.

(This is purely an advice from individual. The context of this post is the assumption you have not committed fraud.)
